Default 91 318 won't start, any ideas?

Well, I was working late last night doing a flooring install, and when i went to start my truck (91 318 auto), it wouldn't start . It was pouring rain, so i got a ride home . Today, I'm heading back this afternoon to finish the flooring and to hopefully get my truck running .
It was running totally fine on the way to the job (it's run great ever since i've owned it) . Now, it turns, just wouldn't start . I'm going to check for spark on a plug wire first . If there's no spark, does anyone have any ideas what to check besides the capacitor or ignition coils ?
It seems like something electrical, for it to run fine, then not start back up, but i guess i'll find out this afternoon (hopefully the rain stops)
I know there are lots of possibilities, but does anyone have any ideas ?
thanks

Check the notorious splice under the relay/fuse box. The nasty weather coulda finally done it in. If you need more info on the splice, check the FAQ.

i'll check out the splice, thanks for the info .
This morning, i got a ride to my truck, and it's getting spark.
What would be the easiest way to check if i'm getting fuel.
I took off the air filter lid, and i didn't notice any fuel smell. I don't have much knowledge of fuel injection . Should i be smelling a strong fuel smell (like in a carberated motor that is cranked but won't start) ?

When you turn the key on, can you hear the pump prime?

Read the FAQ on the splice . Since I'm getting spark to the plugs, I guess the splice is alright (according tom the article) .

gman . What is the sound I should be listening for to see if the pump is priming?

Thanks

Just reread the FAQ on the splice . It said if I was getting spark, the asd relay was good. It also said there was a connection to fuel pump relays . If I'm getting spark, could the splice still be bad ?
I'm going to check out the truck tomorrow, today was cold & rainy.
Thanks for the help

You can hear it back by the gas tank. Shouldn't be any other noises but the pump back there. It's different from rig to rig, but it's a whine or hum. Not sure how to describe it.
