That is running warmer than mine usually is. It's usually hovering right above that second line like you said. It should be fine, unless maybe air bubbles in the coolant? Did you bleed it?

I'm mvac by luck and aloa just becuase. before 2008 I had no idea what an engine was..have no idea what an engine details.
I flushed the heck out of the ports, but only a few flecks of gasket flowed out.
Shoot, I just looked at the pic a third time and everything appears to be there. I though that the two bars on that gold ring were missing, but they're there. Sorry to alarm you :/
