I just picked up one of these that I had found on craigslist here in Wisconsin. The guy didnt know what it was except that it came off a Dakota that a friend of his had. someone had painted it once and now the paint is bubbling up but otherwise there is no cracks in it. I didnt need it but I know what its worth and just had to pick it up and I am thinking about just sanding it down and getting it into priemer so it looks better and than put it up on the shelf for now. here is a pic of it it has all the factory tags on it:

Just realized Lund made both a "racerback" and "fastback" the racerback is attached to the cab like this:

Their fastback attached to the bed and looked more like the Shelby's only without the punch-out window in the middle...personally I like the solid fastback! I can only find them for the S10 though:

I like both of those too. I have 2 of the lund racerbacks as I had one on my old dakota and I liked thhe look but than on the other hand I have seen full size rams have the fastback and yea I havent seen one of those made for a dakota but since you said something I am going too do some research on them and see what I can find. But than both of those are very hard to find items. But to be very correct its hard to find anything for the Dakota body as it is.

It might be easier and/or cheaper to buy the Shelby one off you but I would rather the Lund, looks to me like the Lund is a bit shorter?

I agree the racerback looks good on your truck but I wouldn't want it on a club cab with a short bed, the fastbacks are more smooth with the body lines...I'll find one I'm in no rush.
