Default 5.2 Magnum backfiring problem

Hey guys we just pulled the transmission and replaced it with a new one from the junk yard. We got it all in and started the motor and it then began backfiring rather badly we checked the firing order and it is all correct. It now idles at about 200-300rpms shakes like a dragster and runs like poop. Also we changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and it is still doing it and we checked for spark and every plug is getting spark so i am starting to think its a fuel/air problem. Can anything we could we did when putting the tranny in cause this? Or has anyone encountered this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

good i believe every plug has spark, ran great before we put the tranny in now it runs like poop.... i think its a fuel/air problem i can hear the throttle body sucking in more air at idle im just not sure what it could be...

Possibly the wires got pinched in between the bellhousings. Or something is unplugged.

Well we made sure everything is plugged in about 20 times but i think we hit the wire harness in between the bell housing and the body when we put it in. Is it possible we broke a wire in there im assuming?
