"i used jb weld on the oilpan just like the guy at the parts store told me". no offense to anyone but im betting the farm even a day is unrealistic for him to put that new pan gasket in lol . and if he gets it back together and something wasnt done right...... i could see tools flying across the driveway. alot of folks around here are mechanics with tons of knowledge, hoists, tools, torches. something tells me the orignal poster has none of these things. good luck whatever path you take. jb weld might very well be good permanent fix if the hole isnt real big and you clean the area well
