Anyone ever had one go out? Mine is shot, sounds like a jet engine when driving. I can turn off overdrive and it quiets the truck considerably. Can i just replace the unit or should I replace the entire tranny? Cheapest rebuild price I got starts at $1300 and goes up from there. I found a used tranny complete with torque convertor for $300.
