Default died again

Monday night she shut off on me again and would not restart. Before she shut off she started sputtering and hesitating under light throttle. I basically killed the battery trying to restart her. My girlfriend called her aaa and got her towed home. The driver got her off of the flat bed and put her in park. When the door was open i noticed the dome light was pretty bright so after the driver left i tried to restart her and she fired right up. The next day I tried to take her to work but she acted up(sputtering and hesitating under light throttle) so I took her back home. Last night I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and pick-up coil. She ran a bit better after that but still hesitates and missfires a little. I am confused as to what it could be and I cannot find the infamous splice. I still have code 27

What do you mean you can't find it (notorious splice)??. There's a good write-up here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ml#post1678925. This came from the FAQ. It also say's that it's primarily the '93-'95's though. Don't know if that's accurate or not. Worth checking I think.

My fuse box sits opposite of the one in the picture so I don't think I have the notorious splice on my truck. My brother ran to the pick and pull and got me a computer, injectors, fuel rail, and my drivers side seat belt. He tried for a complete engine harness and fuel pump but the pump was m.i.a and the harness was hacked up. I am going to clean the injectors and fuel rail before installing them and pray the computer works.

I had the same problem with my old Volvo, it would die just like yours after 5 or 10 mins of driving, I would check your fuel pressure reg. the next time it stalls go and pull the vacuum line from the FPR and then replace it back and see if it will start right up.
