All i know is that when i turn hard left i get a grinding squeeling sound..??? could it be this... ( see pics look at the rubber spacer.. )... And what is this black stripping called?? on my doors??..

 

 

Pic isn't showing, but squealing in one direction is common for a failing power steering pump, or one that's using contaminated fluid.
take off the belt and see if the pulley bearing is frozen. It shouldn't have wobble to it if the bearing is good.
