Will an inop fuel guage keep my Dak from passing inspection in Pa? l

I'm not from PA, but read the requirements from this link:http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms.../section_e.pdf

I had a co-worker who did vehicle inspections in PA and he told me no, but that was 7 years ago when he lived in Pittsburgh. Hope this helps.

It doesn't need to operable according to the inspection requirements, basically no leaks and no lines through a passenger compartment are the only thing they look for.

Thanks guys that sure helped, Just was not wanting to raise the bed or drop the tank in this weather. Speaking of fuel pumps etc, has anyone other than me wondered why the MFG didn't install an access plate in the bed to fix these things?
