Default Start issue

Intermittently, when I try to start the truck ('93 3.9 6cyl), the key turns and it's just a click. Sometime I turn it back, try again and it starts right up. Other times it turn click, turn click, turn start, etc. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Possibly a bad starter or a bad ignition switch.

be sure you got a good clean tight connection between battery posts and wire ends. seen this same type of problem when connections get corroded at the battery terminals.

x3 on the starter, but checking connections first. If it is your starter don't waste your money at the parts store. Find a local shop to rebuild it for you. Save lots of money that way. There is a local shop near me that specializes in starter and alternator rebuilds, I don't know if they are common or not.
