1993 dakota headlight switch connector terminals
we really could use this ionformation this morning
does any one have the color codes for the terminal layout for the headlight switch for a 1993 dodge dakota, I found a wiring diagram, but it does not tell you where what color wires go on the switch.
the thing literally melted to the point where we can not determine where all the wires go to the corrrect terminals on the headlight switch
there are no connectors available from the dealer, and no used parts places have a dakota, as of yesterday (saturday)
so we are going to eliminate the connector, go directs terminal to the switch, the truck has to be on the road by 5 am tomorrow (monday) he needs lights!
this will not happen again, I am installing aux relays for the headlights and fog lights that will be triggered by the factory wiring, the lights will no longer be powered from the factory wiring, that will only trigger the realy's
thank you

thanks,. I had downloaded one from that link, but it did not give the pinouts, or terminal reference for the '93
this is a le with fog lights and every stupid little thing in it like the overhead read outs, temp electric rear view mirror, the 94 is different from my understanding so far, i will dig further, we did buy a aftermarket switch, and get the lights working, but not everything else in the dash, we also have 3 sets of wires unhooked still, and not the truck does not shut off immediate., so there must be a grouund issue as well
get this, the aftermarket switch, you turn the switch to the left to click the detent (like dimming all the lights)
