I'd give the vinegar a shot. It has so many uses, I'm almost certain it won't harm your paint. You can drink it lol. People use it to prevent water spots when washing their vehicles too. Plus it's all natural. Who knows what kind of chemicals are in the store bought stuff.

THats a trick I have never heard, how much vinegar to prevent water spots got any idea?

From what I've read, you use half water, half white vinegar in a spray bottle. Just spray it on, then wipe clean. The water spots will come right off. But, vinegar will also dull the wax over time. I personally don't take the time to wax any of my vehicles. I just don't have the patience for it lol.

Water spots will ruin your paint!! I never knew that. I usually dry them with old bath towels anyway, so I never thought too much about it.
