Default Anti Ice Spray!!! GREAT

Ran out of deicer stopped at the Zone got a new can and also a can of anti ice. Stuff works! Latest snow cleared off juts like baby powder, no freeze under it! Sprayed the stuff on one door seal wiped it down no freeze next day. Other door had to wait for heater to warm enough to open it. Stuff works!

Vinegar will work for an anti ice as well. Spray it on your windshield and never have to scrape in the morning again. Apparently it helps in your windshield washer fluid as well. Just heresay, I have yet to try it.

The idea is to spray it when you park. Remove any stuff on the windows first. THis stuff is so good I broom the snow off and follow with my window squgee. I didn't put iton the back window the first time I used it and the hinge and lock on my Lear topper were frozen. I sprayed them when I parked the truck that day. Next morning it was 16F and the topper window opened right up! Im going to try alcohol next its cheaper.

What would the vinegar do to a good paint job, I don't think it would be good.

What spray are you guys using? ive used the prestone for two years and it works pretty effectively but i just ran out and maybe looking to try something else. The prestone was good, i always sprayed it before a storm or before going into work made it so much easier to just push ice and snow off my windshield.

That is what I am using, it is much better to spray before the storm or ice than try to get it off after it has frozen.

In my heating business i started doing the following and never had a cracked windshield again. I start the truck when I first go out to get ready to defrost. Set heater controls to put the air in the cabin of the truck , not defrost directly on windshield. Next is broom the all the snow off that will come off and clear the air intake that sucks outside air into the truck. If you have ice melt use it. Since the heat is going up to the roof the top of the windshield will start melting first and you can use that melt to slowly work down the windshield. I dont send air to the windshield until all the stuff is clear. Another thing that helps is clear the snow from the roof once the windshield is free of ice. Dont turn defrost on until windows are clear.
