electrical gremlins

1996 dakota slt.Fuse for cigar lighter blows only with lights on.Pushed lighter in and lights on panel flashed below guages and went out.Panel still lit up though.Fuse blown again.Help!!

Sounds like a short somewhere. Just have to dig around and figure it out. If it helps we got the wiring diagrams in the FAQ in this section, just a few posts above this one.
