Default Relay Wire Help Please

How am I supposed to set up this relay? It's a 4 PIN 30 AMP 12V.

I tried my own schematic:

but it wouldn't turn on.

I tried shorting negative end of the switch to the 30 terminal and it turned on, tried it again and I blew the 10amp fuse.

If anyone can make a schematic it would be very much appreciated.

30 to 12v fused
86 to ground
85 to 12v from switch
87 to lights
ground the lights and relay to the battery, requires more wire but it's a better connection.

Note that 86 and 85 are interchangeable since they are just opposite sides of the coil in the relay.

If they are for the headlights make sure they are wired correctly, I can never remember what years are - vs + switched.

Switch can be hooked to the battery through a fuse or a 12v ignition source for example radio power or lighter socket.

If you go straight to the battery make sure the switch is lighted so you don't forget to turn it off when the truck is off.
