Default What Type of Tire Should I Get?

I have a 95 Dakota with the 3.9L V6. I am installing a 2" Body Lift and was wondering what type of tires I should get? I would like to get a decent set of 33x10.5x15 tires.

i have a 94 dakota with a 2 inch body, with a 3 inch key lift as well and i can just clear 33s. i had to cut and modify the front fenders, but my winch and bumper weigh the front down.. alot.. the rear would definetly clear. slap some nice 31 10.50s on there it will look great and they work fairly well.

i went to a 33 because i got a SMOKIN deal on a set of 5 wheels and tires.

Thank you for your response. I will look into a set of 31's. They sound a lot better then doing that to my fenders lol.

Hold up. My friend had 33s with a 2 inch lift and cranked torsion bars and didn't have to cut or hammer fenders or anything. JM said his winch and bumper weigh the front down so I think thats the only reason he had to modify anything.

33's are great they will fit with cranking with body lift.

Best price I for 33's Muds I would say Dunlop Radial Mud Rover. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....VOWL&tab=Sizes
$172 each I got one, I had to replace one that got a side puncture, deep tread.

Okay. What are the pros/cons of cranking torsion bars?

Stiffer ride I think. But like Crazy would say...it's a truck, not a Cadillac.

my 33s rub on my body mounts even.... my keys are cranked as far as my cv axles can take anyway. could be my wheels. they are offset and i have 12.50s not 10.50s

also 33s are gonna suck alot of power outa that poor little v6 without the right gearing

either way goodluck
