Angry what would you do?

Okay so the issue i have is a rotton truck... the body of my dakota is rusty.. to say the least... there is surface rust on both doors. all 4 fenders are shot and the rocker pannels are only about half there..

I have put alot of time and effort into this truck, blood sweat and tears.
iv put lifts on it, built a costom bumper, spare tire rack, and jerrycan holders for those long off road trips. iv put a killer sound system into it (for an off roader) found a stock roll bar off of an earlier dakota, AND dropped a 360 under the hood, along with a tranny and a freshly rebuilt rear diff.

needless to say im a couple years into my build and i hate watching the poor thing deteriorate, id love to put money into it but i just dont have a big dollar amount in my accout

but on the other hand i want to put those prerunner fenders on, fiberglass doesnt rust! but they dont make anything for the rear of the truck, or that iv found anyway...

im really at a cross roads with this one any advice?

I would swap another cab on to it. Another member just did this. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...n-my-91-a.html

As for the rear fenders, several people used the 2nd Gen Baja fenders on our trucks. Same size bed and they are all custom fit since it is not a bolt on.

I agree with Crazy, swap a new cab on, and while you have the old one off, prep and POR15 the frame you have now to keep that in good shape.

Where do you get those fenders?
And after following the link, the rear 1/4's on that red truck are stock "pulled" not replacement.

Might be the angle but it looks like genII fenders have more wheel opening.

Ya after looking closely it does look stock.

Well here are the front Baja/Prerunner style flared front fenders.

Here are the 2nd Gen Rear/bed fenders.

Like I said they should be the best option since the bed size is the same and the rear is not a bolt in anyway so you will have to custom fit it anyways.

would it be an easier mod if i got 4 front ones and basically made the fender a flare? or would that look to makeshift?

also i like the tail lights of the first gen way more than the second gen.. how would i keep my old ones?
