Default body fillers or body gruads.

DID our dakotas come with body fillers between the frame and the fender to cover the engine. i found an old one i had from my last dakota and i'm wondering if it is stock or a add on like to fill in a body lift. it could be a add on but i was wondering if maybe they came stock with them on. and then you can get a longer one online to fill it after you put a body lift on.

Just wondering i want to get some and if the ones online are longer i'll get them. but if i already have a longer one then the ones online will not work...

From factory they are called splash guards, yes we did have them stock. No there are no replacements or new ones for body lifts. They are made of a composite plastic/rubber.

I just cut a good size sheet metal to cover it up. I used rubber and some type of plastic in the past, but with the headers close by it melted them up. Metal is the only thing that can handle the heat.
