88 dakota a/c question
First of all thank you to whom ever responded to my 4x4 concerns on this truck. I took a chance, locked it in and it works perfect.
Regarding the A/C, it looks like the compressor has been replaced and is possibly R134a. There is a quick disconnect port on the compressor and on the line running from the compressor to the condenser. The largest of the lines is running from the compressor to the evaporator, it has a male threaded port on it and what appears to be a large senser attached.
Which is the low side for installing freon and checking the system.
I have purchased R134A freon and other supplies from a local parts store and nothing fits to any port. Wish I was a real a/c guy, any help is greatly appreciated.
On another note where is the best place to get a front suspension leveling kit?

I have a 95 and the low side port is on the line running next to the passenger fender. The high side is the port by the compressor. U may be able to get away by just charging the system but most likely it won't work efficiently and not too cold and will probably just leak out again. but if its been completely discharched for a long time, the leak will need to be fixed and then the whole system needs to be put on a vacuum for about 3 to 4 hours to get all the moisture out of the system before charging.
