As for your question, basically no nothing is a simple bolt on. The best thing is to open up the intake manifold ports and heads and exhaust manifolds as well as the throttle body, which to do that you will need to grind down the interior ports with a dremmel tool and a coarse bit.
Actually the best bolt on is a 5.9 Magnum engine, it is a simple bolt on. Also drop in the 5.9 PCM. Other than that all aftermarket performance parts.

So if i go with the 5.9 from a 93-03 van/ram ill have to convert or i will be able to use all my wiring for the ew engine drop? sorry if this seems obvious but i just got a little confused
