Just removed it, gave it a good cleaning, and sprayed it with Krylon fusion. Works awesome on plastic. All the white was black previously. Working on getting a dash cover and painting all the interior trim black.

You have to pull the 2 side panels off above the doors to remove the headliner anyway, you can just run the wires down the drivers side panel down under the dash then through the firewall. The headliner is super easy to remove on the Dakotas.

As for the ping pong paddle, they're durable but thin and cheap. Cheaper than buying a whole sheet of plywood just for a small piece to cut out.

First off, i doubt that the 4x60W is the RMS power of the headunit. Most headunits put out about 4x20W RMS to each speaker. What headunit are you looking at getting exactly? Just an FYI the more detail you give the more detailed responses you will recieve.

You can put 6x9's in the rear. However you may have to mount them to the metal instead of using the stock location on the plastic. Then again you can put any size speaker anywhere it just depends on how much you want to go through to put it there.
