Default truck update and ???

91 dodge dakot v6, needs a front driver brake hose, i have one but it is for passenger side, the only difference is the angle of the block that connect to the brake cylinder that i can tell. so my question is can i modify somehow that one to work?

Update:
truck other than the brake hose is ready for the road, since I picked it up for $400 I have replaced front pass brake hose, front to back brake line from front cylinder to back, air filter, tires(235/75/15), wiper blades, headlights, signal bulbs(passenger)

ive also installed a custom grill and a cd deck with aux and put in component speakers and rewired them since the previous own f*ed it up.

what it still needs is E-brake line, broken at back pass wheel, and the gas gauge dont work, was told it was something on the back part of the fuel pump and that it was $100+, so rather than fix it im gonna carry a few gallons with me locked in my tool box in the bed (the way gas prices are these days)

Without seeing the brakes line/block I can't tell you if it can be modified, but the line can be bent around if needed.

Also, you can get around a broken fuel gauge by using your trip odometer. I reset mine every tank and go about 200-220 miles before I need to refuel. Take a can with you the first couple tanks while you figure out how far you can go. (or calc your mpg for a few tanks and multiply that by # gallons your tank holds to get a closer estimate)

my fuel gauge doesnt work, my trip odometer doesnt work, and my odometer stopped at 36 grand. I just have to know how much fuel ive put in and how many miles approx i drive everyday approx. i can make my full tank last 7 days straight of approx 50 miles a day driving, just makes it. thats around 350 out of a full tank (16 Gal from all the way empty to full full), not so bad to me

If your speedo and all are not working I would suspect a bad speed cable. Cheep $20 or so new.

Even if the fuel gauge doesn't work, the gas light has always been religiously accurate for me. I usually have 4-5 gallons left when it comes on.
