Anyone know of a place to pickup a good replacement for the OEM. About to start the engine and trans rebuild. Pretty much a complete refurb of the truck.

Thought long and hard about an engine swap but just going stay with what I have. I will be lifting the truck up 3 inches, replacing the steel rims with the 16in Durango wheels.

My turn now, since the son's truck is done.

There is the aluminum intake plenum pans that replace the steal ones that are known to kill gaskets. The kits are $80 or so, www.ebay.com or http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/p...d&partid=26194

Send 1999blkdakrt a PM about the aluminum belly pan. Think he just had another batch made up and he's a hell of a lot cheaper than Hughes Engines.

 

I just ordered one from 1999blkdakrt and it is quality. He also sold me a modified v6 throttle body for a great price!

 

Brian does quality work at very reasonable prices. Just goes to show you how much Hughes Engine has been ripping people off over the years with their high prices.
