92 Dakota 3.9L Where is the OBD port in the truck?

In my 92 Dakota 3.9L Auto 4X4 Ex_Cab the only computer like port I find is under the drivers seat. I know this is OBDI or whatever the older system is called but isn't there supposed to be a port under the dash?

ODB 11 started in 1995

The data port is actually under the hood, on the passenger side firewall. It didn't become mandatory to have it under the dash until 2000.

Right where the fender meets the cab on the right hand side. Looks like a square plug with a corner missing.
