Some info for the 1987 version Trucks, I pulled the tag off the bottom side of my hood tonight, which I guess is a Dakota equivalent of a fender tag and here is what it reads. I guess we can all assume that this is how all of the trucks are optioned:
Code No. Description
BGA Power Disk Brakes
BJA STD Duty front disk brakes
BKA 10 x 2 1/2 rear brake
DGA STD Duty Auto Trans
DGG (illegible) /A999 Auto Trans
DHA Lock Up Torque Converter
DMD 3.(illegible) Axle Ratio (for the time I'm going to assume this is 3.90:1)
DRA Chry - 8.25 Axle
GK9B11 delete Air dam IND1 500
KRPF71 delete fender nameplate (not done on my or any other Indy truck i've seen)
NDA Catylatic Converter
ZTTA32 Transportation - Creative (maybe the people who did the conversion???)

Default Valuable parts?

I spotted one of these Inday Pace Trucks in a yard today in SE Michigan. I got curious about it and after a quick Google search, I ended up here.

Doesnt seem to be all that special though, just a decal. Or are there any valuable pieces that should be salvaged? The light bar seemed in particularly good shape

If it's an 87 (like the ones shown in this thread) I believe that they have a numbered dash plaque. Do you have any pictures of the truck you found?

Edit: Also the light switch to the lightbar would probably be a good snag as well if the truck is really shot.

heck, save the whole truck, body panels are easily replaced. I've never seen a whole frame rust out. I'll buy it if they don't want a ******** and a half for it. I'm somewhat close anyways lol

I really don't know what the Indys are worth but they are still Dakotas in the end.
