I've got a 92 dakota sport reg cab 2wd with 262k miles and the only thing I've changed are the tires and front shocks, the timing chain is lose and makes noise, but she still runs strong enough to burn rubber into 2nd gear!

i have a 94 ext cab, with just over 147k mi on it. i bought it used. the entire thing looks original. the engine bay and motor are clean, it has the 318, with lots of power (comp. to my 4 cyl). I raced an 04 hemi ram and won. changed the drums, rotors, pads and shoes first thing, along with the oil and filters. the paint is all flaking off on one side. headliner fell off, so i tried to fix it; it held for about a week and came down again. other than temp sending unit bad and temp gage doen't read right, everything else is in top shape.

280,000 on my 91 3.9 Auto. All original except starter, tires, belts, battery, hoses, filters. Regular fluid changes help.

How's she runnin' Kenny?
Mines got about 98K miles on her and shes still running good (the transmission is up for maintenance, and hopefully will fix the few things wrong with it). I'd like to see at least 250,000 with this truck, and from what everyone has posted, she should get there easily.

Well I posted before when it had 173000 miles on it and was losing oil pressure. It made it to 177765
miles on it and then I had to replace the motor in it. I went with another 318 with 0 miles in it. I
hope that I get another 177000 out of her.

I bought my 93 with a 3.9L auto last March with 111k, and it now has 121k on it. It is a gutless wonder and I know I need a larger engine as well as some tranny work. Still a nice lookin truck though.

I just bought my 87 dakota with 162000 miles and all it needed was a tune up and it runs like new.
a little less pull from 87 but a sweet little runner anyway...
