mind my asking why it matters? Are you planning on keeping for the long haul or selling it?; or was it recently wrecked? I dont care what somethin is "worth" by some book, that I plan to keep til it dies anyway. and then I will probably revive it at least once and keep driving....

Just curious.

You left out a lot of info in regards to the truck, however, given the data you provided, it should run about $1500 in excellent condition down to about $500 in poor condition. Given the design, age, and components, I would think any driveable truck is worth $1000 (4wd is worth about $300 on top of that). This is based on craigslist ads that I have seen locally.

Any aftermarket work not done by a shop should make you wary. Lift kits, "custom" engine work, stuff like that. I never trust any vehicle that has a lot of custom work done and no receipts for parts and/or labor. I assume I am being lied to about everything that has been fixed and nothing to prove it. Unless I know and trust the person already.

A recent experience has proved me right on this.

A better judge of what it is worth is what similar models sell for. If book value is $3000 but there are a bunch on autotrader or ebay or craigslist for $1500 then $3000 is not a good deal. Whenever I have bought a car I find a similar one that is cheaper and use that in my price negotiations "Well I saw another one that was asking $1500, I think I'll go have a look at that one before I make my decision". If it is a used dealership that usually brings their price down quick.
