How do I use Lucas Oil Stabilizer?
Someone told me to use a full bottle 32oz (1 qt) during my next oil change, subtracting 1/2 qt of oil.
So instead of putting a full 4 quarts of oil, put 3.5 quarts plus 1 quart of oil stabilizer, making the total 4.5 quarts.
Do I want 4.5, or 4? (Use 1 quart of stabilizer plus 3.5 quarts of oil, or 1 quart stabilizer plus 3 quarts of oil)

PS
The directions on this product are pretty hard to understand.
Does that mean I want to add the full 4 quarts, plus 1 quart stabilizer?
20% of system capacity (4qt) is .8 of a quart.
Is that 4 quarts plus an 8th of stabilizer, or 3.2 quarts of oil plus an 8th of stabilizer?

For total protection in newer engines and to stop smoking, knocking and oil consumption in older engines. Use 20% of system capacity (example: 1 quart stabilizer with four quarts motor oil.) In badly worn engines use up to 60% of system capacity. Use in every oil change.

yea dont go overboard with it and do it when the engine is already been ran so its warm, set the bottle on top of the engine for awhile while your draining the old so it can loosen up some, its super thick if its cold. re check your oil level again the next day cause it can take a bit for it to get around and you may be over or under. ive used this stuff in many vehicles, when i first got the dakota there was some engine noise, but after the first oil change using lucas everything got smoother and more quiet.
