i always use a mopar but i get em for nothin:P
pureolater pure one is what i used before though. stp was ok.
i won't use fram. i've replaced to many engine with fram filters.
if you are in doubt though why not stroll down to your dealer and pick up a few m-090 filters for it. it's what was made for it anyway.

I've always used the Mopar filters (which are rebranded purolators) and Frams, hell we have a 96 Dodge Ram with 300,000 miles that has only had Frams it's whole life. I used K&N's in my daily driver for a while but it got traded for my 87 Dakota. Wix's are good too, use those a lot since I've been employed at a Wix dealer.

I agree with the above statement being to use the Mopar filters. However, if you go outside the box, and use aftermarket filters that have increased filtering, you must be diligent to not allow them to get clogged as it will increase wear on internal parts. As far as intake filtering, unless you are part of a racing team, the stock style filters (paper) are adequate. K&N are good for city driving, but offroading style can be problematic, and they require more maintenance than normal filters, so you pay more to do more. Really, the aftermarket machine is just wanting to sell you something you really do not need, but make it seem like your pride and joy will become a 10 second monster if you just give them your cabbage. I will state that MOBIL 1 synthetic, Zmax, and ethanol free gas are beneficial (personally studied in college to see benefits)
