Default Driver side taillight issues

Once it got dark I went outside to take a pic of the new bulbs so I could show a comparison from the silver star lights to the regular long life sylvania bulbs. Well I noticed the driver side taillight is only lighting on the low filament (running light) and if you have the headlights on and press the brake the whole light goes out. Well its late and dark so not able to do anything tonight and thought id see if anyone has ever had a issue like this and if it was a switch or a notorious wiring problem. Tomorrow I will get the meter and start pinning the wiring starting at the bulb and working back. If anyone has had this issue please feel free to let me know what you found. Thanks.

You have a bad ground to that taillight socket my friend. Seen this so many times between all of the trailers and trucks i would work on when I used to work at u-haul.

Did it happen before the light bulbs change?
Have you tried your old light bulbs to see if it returned to normal?

Im not really sure if it was like that before the change or not. When I installed the one led and turned on the flashers I didnt have the running lights on to notice it. I haven't had a chance to do anything yet. Really busy day at work yesterday and didn't have time to see if the new bulb is bad or if it is a wiring issue. I hope to look at it today after work and ill update.

Im guessing bad bulb. I took the led bulbs back and bought the silverstar bulbs. After I installed the new bulbs everything was ok. By the way the new bulbs are very bright with the tinted tails.
