Hey guys, I'll post this in the wanted section but it's here too to grab all the first gen Dak guy's attention.

I'm looking for quite a few parts for the restoration of my Indy 500 edition 1987 Dakota

First off I need a rust-free long bed, mine is rusted beyond repair, I have a gold 1987 shortbed Dakota I'd be willing to trade for a bed (the gold truck consists of a cab, rust free shortbed, an AMC v8, and is a rolling chassis)

Also needed:
Passenger Door
Nice bumpers, preferably LE with impact strip front bumper
Drivers side headlight bezel
4 center caps for the 5 spoke aluminum wheels
Factory Cassette player


more will come if I find out I need more, again if you have all of these I'll gladly trade for the gold 1987 Dakota!

i know a guy in waterford, wisconsin who strips 1st gen dakotas. i bought my cab, doors and fenders from him at a good price. might be worth the trip if he's got the parts

 

Definitely shadow, ask him what he has and if he'd want this gold truck or what his cash price is for me!

let me know, i just need a clean rustfree bed mostly and the flares from maybe an 89 sport or similar and those pesky disappearing center caps, all of the other stuff I need can be sourced locally
