fuel line at rail removal

Default fuel line at rail removal

how do u separate them? disconnected the clip attaching them, don't want to damage the rail ( my spare rail I bought off ebay has the fuel inlet snapped and don't want to snap mine) thanks

You have to have a fuel line disconnect tool. Any parts store will have them and they should cost $10-$20 and is a real good tool to have in your tool box.

which tool? went to napa only thing they had is one for style that has plastic fittings on the line, which mine doesn't have

Take your pick. I bought one of the plastic various size fuel line kits years ago and they work perfectly.

seen those but thought they were for plastic fittings like u see near fuel pumps... bought this one.... http://www.handsontools.com/Miller-T...-_p_17876.html supposed to be for my year engine- oh if doesn't work guess heading for advance auto parts

Its hard to say if that is the one that will work. The 95 Dakota manual states this exact tool is needed.
