Default Need Help Choosing Exhaust

Hey im trying to decide wich way to do my exhaust. 1) dual exhaust with 2.5 inch pipe from headers to a h-pipe to mufflers with turndowns. 2) custom 2.5 inch y-pipe with 2.5 inch pipe to a single muffler with turndowns. I want what will give me the most power but at the same time give me the most low end torque. Ive heard that the y-pipe will give you the most torque but not sure if thats true. My truck is being built as a street/strip truck and not sure wich exhaust will be best for my use. And if I go with the single exhaust will it be better to do 2.5 y-pipe into 3 inch pipe to muffler. Any help and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Best would be 2.5 to an X-pipe then dual out back. Of coarse its got to be custom, when is it never on our trucks.
