just took my injectors out and took them in to a diesel F.I. place and had them tested flushed and rebuilt. man what a difference in how it runs, and I thought it ran good beforehand... I put em back onto my truck last nite. cost me $150/all 8
what about the plenum gasket. that seems to always be the first thing brought up in the 2nd gen ram section when someone pops in asking how to get better gas mileage. i know my 93 ram charger with a 318 and 46RH is getting 18 mpg running straight hi way and about 14-16 doing a mix of city and hi way driving. i also run ethanol free 91 octane gas in my trucks.
I have gotten a best of 20 and a worst of 17 from my 93 318 CC Dakota running the 5 speed and m/t computer from a 94 Dakota 17 is also my best achieved MPG out of my 94 reg cab short bed V6/at truck....
Bosch Splitfires actually work very well with our motors, just like it's been said..expensive...buuut my old man put those in before i changed them out so it wasn't my money wasted lol.
