Default seat and oil filter question

got a '96 3.9 clubcab. i believe the front seat is refered to as a 60/40 split bench. anyone know where to get a seat cover specific for this seat ? looked all over and cant find nothing

is there a common problem with a real slow drip from the oil filter oring on this engine ? tightened it much as i can by hand but still one drip sitting at the bottom of the filter. thought about giving it a slight nudge with a filter wrench but not sure that would do any good. is something machined off whack from the factory and is there a simple fix ? the drip is getting annoying. got this truck pretty well 100% leak free except that stupid small oil drip

Have you checked to make sure you didn't leave the old o-ring on as well as the new one?

no old oring aint on there. been leeking on evey filter. could be wrong but thought i recall someone say the blocks werent machined correct at the oil filter mating surface. might try 1/8 more turn with a filter wrench and see what happens. shouldnt need to be that tight though

The filter plate that mounts to the engine must not be sealing correctly.

the 1/8 extra turn sounds like a plan. i always did that on my 90. not sure where your filter is located but on my 90 was very hard to get a firm hand on it to tighten.
