Default 94 V6 Lift Help

Hey guys new to the forum but ive been peeking around for awhile. I just purchased a V6 2wd Dakota and im looking to lift it. ive seen that the easiest way is coil spacers up front and adding a leaf in the back. i was just wondering with the coil spacers has anyone had any problems with the ball joints afterwords a buddy of mine told me spacers are hell on the ball joints. and anyone that has done this type of set up have you bought longer shock for the front and rear or rode the stocks?

There is always stress on ball joints and other major components, it will put slightly more stress but nothing to serious. Just remember if they are the stock ball joints they most likely will need changing anyways.

If you didn't see it already I just commented on another 2wd lift post today.
