I was driving too close to a stationary object and bent back the passenger side mirror on my '92 Dakota.

It is still attached to the door, but it is so strongly fixed in the new position, I cannot push or pull it back into place. It will not budge.

What do I have to do to get the mirror back in the correct position?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would say unbolt it from the inside of the door and loosen the bolts so you can move it, then tighten back down and reverse removal order.
