Default Question about brakes.

Hello,
A new master cylinder and re-bleeding didn't fix my brakes. The auto parts guy thinks it's the power brake booster, since at the pedal there is a noticeable woosh kind of sucking sound. Any opinion on this sound? Would that indicate it? The pedal goes nearly, but not all the way to the floor. But it makes that sucking sound. Thanks!

I got underneath and the rubber for the powerbrake booster is old and torn. Bingo. I have access to the four bolts, but I'm having trouble disconnecting the brake pedal from the booster. I took off the clip, but I can't see under there well enough to know what's next. Does it just pry apart?
Thanks

There may be a shaft that you have to pull out of linkage
