Depends on your fabrication skills. The cheapest is from the junk yard. I think I paid $18 for mine. There's really no "one way" to do it. I'm using a front wheel drive Volvo fan https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...n-install.html, somebody else here used an HHR fan, and I think a third person used a Ford Taurus fan. Those are only the ones I've heard/read about. There are probably more out there using different fans.

The FAQ2 has several builds, you may want to do some research on those first.

Since you have the 3.9 I dont think it will be to difficult for you since you have plenty of room im assuming. The tight fit on my truck with the 5.2 was what gave me the most trouble. The endof the threaded shaft for clutch is 3 inches to the face of the radiator and I wasn't able to find a fan thin enough but used the HHR fan and positioned the shaft between 2 fan supports. I used a adjustable fan controller. In total I think I have around $150 in my conversion but it was the best money spent. Better mpg, throttle response, torque, hp. My fan write up for the HHR fan is in the FAQs. Good luck and stay patient because this can be a aggravating job. Take lots of pics and keep us posted.
