Default Steering column shifts while braking. Mer?

93 4x4 sport. I noticed while slowing down to a stop, the steering column will shift about 1/4 in. up, telling me something in the front end/drive train is shifting as well... Might this also cause breaking in my tcase output housing? Sooooo much wrong, lol.

Sounds like something is loose. Get under the hood and under the truck and see what is loose and what has play.

Also I deleted your other posts, you made 3 of them.

My apologies, it kept telling me "post attempt failed", lol
Over the next few days, I'm going to dismantle the front end and take an inventory of all that is busted/worn out... Seems the only way.
