In the FAQ you will find the factory service manual free to download which will have a complete R&R on the axle along with specs and pictures.

I know where there's a 93 Dak being parted that has a 3.92 rear end in it that the guy was trying to sell. if youre close I could point you to him, would be easier and cheaper to swap them than to rebuild; rear end swap isnt hard at all; worse case you got your truck back on the road and you can rebuild the original rear and have it ready just in case.... or swap it back in and keep the used one as a spare

I live in centrol Idaho, We bought a used 1 for junk yard was all rusted so when we replaced bearing they came out easy enough but think we may need to replace the pinion bearing. Thanks for the help
