My truck died when i was at a braums yesterday. There was an advance a few blocks away, i picked up a bwd ic and slapped it in. Learned to keep a small tool set in this truck. Anyway it fired right up, I'm pretty sure the old one was a bwd. Hopefully it will last awhile. Now on to the next problem. Will see if it starts dying again. Now if i could just get it to shift smoothly into 1st and 2nd

Thanks all so much for the ideas. I think I will start by looking for a vacuum leak and then go to the coil. I will post what works if I find anything. Thanks again
