Default some questions

I y'all, have a 88 3.9 4x4 and when ever I give her a lot she bogs then stalls. I'm gonna replace fuel filter but can't find it. Where is it? Plus it takes a bit to start her so I think its blocked. Plus, how do I take the belts off?

Plus coolant temp gauge pegged at bottom and no overdrive. Where's that at?

Not sure if the filter location is the same on the early gen 1's, but the filter on mine in underneath the bed about under the filler neck on the drivers side. as far as belts go just find your tensioner pulley and loosen that accordingly and they almost fall off, least mine does like that.

temp gauge sounds like a bad sending unit, most likely the temp-to-gauge sender. not sure where it is, there is one diagram, but lord knows the wire isnt there on my truck.

Any ideas for stalling? I held it at half way throttle it bogged down then kicked back in. I'm thinking tps. Plus my air filter cover issue flipped over and won't completely seal either way. Any ideas?
