Default Need some help with 1996 Dakota

Hey I just inherited my grandpa's 1996 dodge dakota reg cab 2wd. and it is a little low for my taste. i was wondering what would be the best way to get a couple inches of lift so i can run some bigger tires.

Also any ideas on best way to paint the "wood grain" on the dash

Don't mean to double post but it's being weird...

but I just spray painted my wood grain on the dash. So far it's been just fine but I'm sure people would recommend a little sanding or something and maybe something other than spray paint haha.

not all of them had woodgrain dashes go to a junkyard and get panels from a "plainer" version of your truck
they dont sell much interior plastic so I bet it would be cheap

If using the body lift on a 2wd, you will need to weld in a spacer on the intermediate steering shaft.

huh? what do you mean? It is screwed onto the nose of the water pump.
if a 4 banger it is an electric one much like a front (wrong) wheel drive car.
