Default Front Hitch?

I am looking to put a front hitch on my 96 dakota. I know they do not sell them from factory, but I am wondering if there are some that will work. I would greatly appreciate it.

You should check the FAQ first and try the search function before posting a new thread.

This is from the FAQ

There are no Front hitch kits made for the 1st Gen. But I custom made my own.

Or you can try a 2nd Gen. front hitch. I don't know how much more customizing you might need to do to make it work.

Make some brackets like these ones, or use a tow bar like this and add a hitch tube to the center.

Yes as stated above from the FAQ2 there is no direct fit, so custom is the only way to go. The first link above is to my front hitch setup. Later on the setup changed a bit due to the SAS but its still there.
