Deleting roll over valve
The rollover valve is a vent with a mechanism to prevent fuel spilling out during a vehicle rollover. It is best just to replace it with another one. Get just the piece you need from a junkyard, I'm sure that is a generic piece that came on most vehicles around its years from Dodge trucks to Jeeps ect.
Thanx Crazy.I knew what its function was just wanted to know if I could put something in its place.Been calling around and yards dont wanna take them off the pump as they wanna sell them as a whole unit.
Here is one I found online for a Jeep.Would this work? I ask because it doesnt look like the one I broke but if it fits and wil work I'll purchase it.

Finally got my rollover valve problem solved. No way in hell I was giving $75 for a piece of plastic.Went to Autozone n found a check valve I could use then got 2 different grommets that fit one in another and BAM,fit slick into my pump. Also had to purchase hose adapters as the one on the check valve was bigger. All together, with 2 containers of hand cleaner(on sale for $1),cost was $22 versus $75.... And yes works great!
