Are you going to get those ported, or leave them like they are OOTB? I don't know what kind of power those RPM's can support OOTB, but should be able to get into the 12's with them fairly easily. I have the RPM's for my 390 LA stroker build and I am contimplating on whether or not I should port them because I am running out of money at an alarming rate lol.

Those will work good. I forgot are you building a 5.2 or 5.9?

for what im going for the way the heads sit they will be good till 11s but i did ask about porting them and it can be done but there's no point they flow so well as they are. the old man who owns the shop told me if your porting aluminum heads your planning on making some monstrous power lol. but i am having the ports polished ill gain a little cfm from it but nothing your going to notice there going to work well on my 360. as for how much power they can make idk but ill be pushing 500 with them stock.

I've noticed on my set that there is some casting in the runners that a good polish should take care of.

The only thing that has me worried about how much these heads can support is that on the Edelbrock website they say:
These heads are capable of 417 horsepower and 397 ft-lbs. of torque on pump gas with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold and matching camshaft

Now granted I'm sure they are capable of producing more than that with a different combo, but I want to make around 550 hp and 500 ft.lbs. N/A. I don't know, I guess I will find out when I put it together... I can always pull them off and have work done after the fact. I do know that the eddie's are the best flowing heads you can get (for a mopar) when they are fully ported so at least I can always make them better.

Are you using a Magnum or LA block?

well like i said im only having the heads polished. but im running a the last year of the magnum 360 im having it bored .30 over with a crower cam and some forged pistons and ill be making 500 hp&tq est if everything comes out right so i wouldn't see why the heads couldn't produce more power with more work. but i think heads that create good power are indy x heads with the dog leg exhaust port but those aren't exactly easy to find.
