A500 transmission rebuild in progress. There are two Teflon rings and one metal ring on the input shaft, and I'm supposed to replace the Teflon ones. But they seem strangely hard to find, and the rebuild kit does not include them. The metal rings are plentiful online.

Am I supposed to replace the Teflon rings with metal ones?
