Alright so it seems that a the seal to my upper ball joint on the passenger side has ruptured so apparently accourding to some searching on google i need to replace the whole ball joint. MY questions to this is should i replace both the upper ball joints for each side or does it not matter and will i need an alignment after i do this.

Will be my first time doing suspension work... Atleast it's not another "not starting" problem for my dakota.

my idea is any ball joint change needs to be aliened. did you pump to much grease in to the joint? be carefuill

 

If the joint isn't shot, then you can get away with just pumping a a bunch of grease in there on a VERY regular basis. Other thing is just replace me all, they are silly cheap on rockauto.com.
