shake and stall dakota
I have a 1994 dakota 3.9l magnum 2wd clubcab
The issue..
around 5-10mins it runs great after that it starts to shake at low rpm 400 or so and after 60secs like that it stalls..if i put in nuetral I can rev it to 1200 and it will run fine until it goes low rpm..
so far iv replaced...
egr
pickup coil
coil
cap and rotor
plug wires
plugs
temp sensor
.. I took a iac and crank sensor off a 95 dakota at junk yard no change
now i need help or ideas at least
the top end was cleaned and rebuilt..

if it helps my oil pressure drops at low rpm when it trying to stall i can rev and its normal so??
the tps is one of the only things left
and iv read the cat could be bad too? straight pipe

Well oil pressure would probably drop with the RPM since it is driven by the camshaft. TPS is a possibility, but kind of weird that it takes ~10 mins to start acting up. It seems to be something electrical rather than mechanical if it runs fine at first. Usually if the cat is bad or clogged it will give off a sulfer smell (rotten eggs) or smell like it is running rich.

Check the fuel pressure when it stalls, could possibly be the fuel pump shutting off when it gets warm. Also check the ASD relay, or swap it with another of the same type of relay that you don't need to run the truck (like the A/C relay). Also, I think there is a fuse associated with the ASD relay, so check that too. Look in the FAQ if you don't know where to look for it under the hood.
Always try the cheap stuff first, this won't cost you anything but a little time.
